Winnie Ku has held various roles since 2012. Winnie began their career as an Overseas ESL Teacher in various locations, where they were responsible for planning, designing, and teaching English lessons to students aged 8 - 16. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at FreshBooks as a Technical Support Specialist, where they used ZenDesk customer service software to resolve customer cases, Jira and Confluence to report and track bugs, and tested new features frequently on both web and mobile. During this same period, they also worked at KPMG Canada as a Learning Coordinator, where they supported the Leadership & Business team in the coordination and execution of various instructor-led and web-based training sessions. In 2019, they joined Rangle.io as a People & Culture Coordinator, where they maintained ownership and administration of the HRIS, employee engagement, and benefits portals. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at Daylight as a Client Solution Developer.
Winnie Ku recently completed a Certificate in Web Development Immersive at Juno College of Technology in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College. Before that, they earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Health Studies and French Studies.
