Ted Stinson

Ted Stinson is a Principal Optical Engineer at Daylight Solutions since March 2018, where notable achievements include leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop a liquid-phase protein spectrometer and enhancing cavity design for improved wavelength stability. Stinson previously served as a Senior Optical Engineer and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California San Diego from September 2010 to March 2018, focusing on terahertz near-field scanning probe microscopy and contributing to various experimental methods and peer-reviewed publications. Stinson holds a Ph.D. in Physics from UC San Diego, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Physics from Boston University, and currently pursues a Master of Science in Physics at UC San Diego.
