Zelda Mayer

Zelda Mayer has a strong background in communications, marketing, and fundraising. Zelda most recently worked at Daymaker as the Director of Content and Storytelling, where they led all communications and marketing strategy for a startup benefit corporation. Zelda created a successful holiday communications strategy that supported under-resourced children and raised over $1 million from employee giving campaigns. Prior to that, Zelda worked as a Communications Manager at Women Unite!, where they managed clients and contractors and designed a capital campaign communications strategy for a Black-led urban farming collective. Zelda also served as a Development Contractor, leading client projects and achieving high fundraising results. Earlier in their career, Zelda was the Director of Development at I Grow Chicago, where they significantly increased revenue and funders, designed a successful capital campaign, and secured substantial foundation and corporate funding.

Zelda Mayer attended the University of Chicago from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.
