David Stuart

David Stuart has over 10 years of work experience in the tech industry. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Software Quality Engineer at Dayshape since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Motorola Solutions as a Test Engineer for Video Security & Access Control from January 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Test Engineer at IndigoVision from September 2020 to January 2021.

From March 2020 to September 2020, David worked as a Senior Test Engineer at Zonal Retail Data Systems. In addition to their testing roles, they also worked as a Business System Analyst at Zonal Retail Data Systems from October 2018 to March 2020. David has experience in defining and managing business and systems requirements, creating project-related documents, and effectively communicating with development teams.

Before joining Zonal Retail Data Systems, David worked as a Test Engineer from August 2015 to December 2017, where they generated test cases, conducted software testing, and automated tests. From November 2013 to August 2015, they served as a 3rd Line Technical Support Analyst at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as a 2nd Line Helpcentre Analyst from May 2011 to November 2013, where they handled incoming client calls and aimed for a high first-time fix rate.

David's earlier experiences include roles at Keycom PLC as a Helpdesk Support from September 2009 to November 2009 and at Pell Frischmann as an IT Support from September 2008 to September 2009.

David Stuart completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmacology at The University of Edinburgh from 2004 to 2009. David also obtained additional certifications including the BCS Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in June 2018, the ISTQB - BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in December 2015, and the Microsoft Certified Professional in Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment from Microsoft in April 2010. David also obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional in Installing, Configuring and Administrating Windows XP from Microsoft in March 2010.
