Clay Appleton possesses extensive experience in engineering and program management, with a career spanning several decades. Since January 2007, Clay has served as a Senior Associate at Dayton Aerospace, focusing on advanced aerospace solutions. Prior to this role, Clay dedicated over three decades to the US Air Force from 1974 to 2007, culminating in the position of ASC Systems Engineer. Notably, from 1998 to 2004, Clay held the role of WP Site Director of Engineering for the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, contributing to significant defense projects. Clay holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Systems Engineering from Wright State University and completed studies at the National Defense University.
