Ari Shamiss

Prof. Ari Shamiss is the founder and General Managing Partner at ALIVE Israel Healthtech Fund and serves as Chief Medical Advisor at EL AL Israel Airlines. Previously, they were the CEO of Assuta Medical Centers, overseeing Israel's largest private medical network, and held the role of Director at Sheba General Hospital for a decade. Ari holds an M.D. from the Technion Institute and an MPA from Harvard University, is a certified specialist in Internal Medicine, Hypertension, and Healthcare Management, and has authored over 60 scientific publications. They also have extensive experience in military medicine as the former Surgeon General of the Israel Air Force and are involved in several healthcare technology initiatives and advisory roles.
