Sam Blay currently serves as the Head of FP&A and Strategic Planning at DAZN, leading the Financial Modelling & Strategic Planning team as well as the Financial Planning & Analysis team since May 2020. Prior to this role, Sam held the position of Head of Financial Modelling, acting as the lead business partner to Group Strategy. From June 2017 to May 2020, Sam was a Manager in the Corporate Financial Advisory division at Deloitte UK, focusing on bespoke planning and decision support tools, and addressing various strategic and operational challenges. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance Services at Ernst & Young, overseeing high-profile clients across multiple sectors. Sam holds a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with ICAS.
