Erik Lemcke

Erik Lemcke is currently the Head of Planning & Operations for short distance and regional traffic at DB Cargo, where they manage a team of 145 employees and handle subcontractor management, including contract and price negotiations. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in national rail traffic from the Technical Railway College Hannover and completed an apprenticeship as a railway worker at the Staatliche Gewerbeschule für Verkehrstechnik. Previous roles include leading quality control and operations at DB Schenker Rail Deutschland AG and DB Cargo, with a strong focus on process development and performance management. Erik has participated in various improvement initiatives throughout their extensive career in the rail industry.
