Michael Schelzig possesses extensive experience in engineering and management roles within the aerospace and transportation sectors. From December 2012 to September 2013, Michael held various positions at Lufthansa Technik, including Projektingenieur, Head of Maintenance, provisional manager of engine test bed and material services, Project Manager Engine Test Bed, and Head of Production (Aircraft Line Maintenance). Prior to that, from September 2006 to January 2010, Michael served as Head of Overhaul Engineering, Tooling, Engine Test & Product Quality at N3EOS. Michael further contributed to DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH as Leiter Fertigung Nah- & Fernverkehr from October 2021 to April 2022 and is currently the Werkleiter at DB Cargo AG since June 2022. Michael began an academic journey at the University of Applied Science Aachen, earning a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik - Flugantriebe from 1996 to 2000.
