Rafic El Itani

Rafic El Itani is the Director of Railway Construction Operations Planning at DB Engineering & Consulting, where they have also served as a Senior Railway Advisor and Railway Operation Planning and Simulation Specialist. Previously, Rafic worked as a Transport Planning Consultant from 2017 to 2019, focusing on traffic engineering for the North Riyadh Development project. They have held key roles at Khatib & Alami as a Transportation Planner & Consultant and were a Graduate Research Assistant at the American University of Beirut. Rafic earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Beirut Arab University and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the American University of Beirut, complemented by research experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
