Imali Kent

Imali Kent is an Educational Consultant at Dbq Project. Imali has also worked as a Teacher at Lake County Schools from August 2007 to May 2014, where they planned, prepared, and delivered instruction using various resources and teaching pedagogy. Imali scaffolded instruction, encouraged, and provided accommodations to ESE students mainstreamed in regular education classroom. Imali differentiated instruction and provided strategic interventions and enrichment based on various data sources. Imali also provided support to teachers as a mentor and team leader.

In their role as a teacher, Imali was also active in several school and district committees, such as the AYP Committee, the Summer Writing Committee, and the District Curriculum Mapping Team. Imali also served as a Lead Teacher for the Sawgrass Bay BYOT program. Throughout their career, Imali has demonstrated their commitment to student success and their leadership skills.

Imali Kent has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Eastern Michigan University.
