Jeff Williams

Jeff Williams has a diverse range of experience in the data center industry. Jeff started their career at Data Center Environments as an Information Technology Project Manager, where they specialized in fiber/copper infrastructure design and managed projects for various companies including Bank of New York Mellon and Harley Davidson financial Data Center. Jeff then moved on to BNY Mellon as a Team Lead, where they planned data center layouts and ensured infrastructure requirements were met. After that, they joined Community Health Systems as a Senior Manager, overseeing three information services departments within their data center operations. Currently, they are working at DC BLOX as the Vice President of Operations, responsible for the 24/7/365 operations of their mission critical data centers. Jeff previously held the role of Director of Data Center Operations at the same company. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong focus on safety, security, costs, scaling, availability, and efficiency.

Jeff Williams obtained an Associates Degree in Applied Science with a focus on computer networking from ITT Technical Institute, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they hold certifications such as the Accredited Operations Specialist from the Uptime Institute, obtained in 2022, and the ITIL V3 foundations certification from the ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level, obtained in 2008.
