Scott Beatty is an experienced Literary Arts Teacher at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, instructing students in Creative Writing, Journalism, and Public Speaking. With a robust career as a Freelance Writer, Editor, and Comic Book Expert since 1997, Scott has contributed significantly to the comic book industry, particularly with work for DC Comics, where credits include iconic titles such as "Batgirl: Year One" and various collected editions. Additionally, Scott has authored young readers' books for Insight Editions, taught English and Communications as an Adjunct Professor at multiple colleges, and created content for the toy industry as a blogger and influencer. Educated with a Master of Education in Secondary Education and a Master’s in English (Creative Writing), Scott's diverse skill set spans multiple facets of writing and education.
