DC Engineering was founded in 1998 on the idea that a clear understanding of a project in the context of client’s goals, as well as the surrounding business and operational dynamics would lead to better engineering. With that foundational approach, coupled with a strong technical background of its founding members, the company quickly gained a client base, and attracted talented, like-minded individuals.  

Now, almost 20 years later, DC Engineering is a multi-faceted engineering consulting firm comprised of engineers, designers, and other project professionals with both breadth of experience and depth of knowledge. A number of engineers on staff are LEED APs.  In addition to providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering, the company also provides refrigeration, controls, energy services, and Applied IT engineering services, as well as commissioning, data management and project management. The company’s corporate office is in Meridian, Idaho, with offices and remote employees across the country.  

Given its expertise and capabilities in many areas, DC Engineering has developed long-standing partnerships directly with owners, civil and architectural firms, and many others to deliver innovative, cost effective solutions that meet the client’s requirements. The company’s client portfolio includes large manufacturing and food processing companies, multi-national retailers, utilities and municipalities, healthcare, high-tech, and governmental agencies.
