Ryan Williams

Ryan Williams is an experienced digital and special events producer currently managing logistics and production for large-scale events at the DC Public Library since April 2020. Prior to this role, Ryan served as the Director of Multicultural Initiatives at NBC News from August 2011 to June 2019, where effective strategies were designed for audience growth and various impactful projects were developed. Additionally, Ryan held the position of Managing Director at the National Association of Black Journalists from May 2005 to January 2011, contributing significantly to journalism education and organizational development. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education with a focus on Environmental Sciences from Penn State University.
