William R. is an experienced professional in video art and documentary filmmaking, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Video Art at American University since August 2023. With a background in audio-visual production, William R. has worked as a Labs Library Associate at DC Public Library since February 2014, producing library radio programs and editing interviews. William R. is also a self-employed documentary filmmaker and freelancer, managing video and audio editing projects and creating documentary films. Previous roles include hosting and producing a live news radio talk show at Radio CPR 101.7, volunteering with Feedback Global, and various internships in media and archives. William R. holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Film and Electronic Media from American University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Studio Art and Philosophy from Abilene Christian University.
