Robert Paul

Robert Paul is an experienced software engineer and design professional with a strong background in digital media. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at DC Thomson since January 2015, Robert has shifted focus from individual technical contributions to engineering management, emphasizing the delivery of outcomes as a line manager. Previously at DC Thomson, Robert held roles including Front End Lead and Front End Designer, where responsibilities included leadership in team training and development of web technologies. Prior experience includes a position as a UX Designer at Insights, where Robert specialized in wireframing and user journey mapping, and various roles at Blue2 Digital Ltd, culminating in Head of Digital Design, overseeing creative direction for diverse digital projects. Robert holds a BDes in Design for Digital Media from Robert Gordon University.
