Olivia Duong

Olivia Duong is a seasoned professional in the field of forensic science and analytical chemistry, currently serving as the President of Local 3778 NYPD Technical Professional Employees since August 2020. Olivia has held the position of Criminalist III at NYPD since July 2013, where responsibilities include internal auditing, document control management, and quality assurance in controlled substances analysis. Prior experience includes roles as a QC Chemist at NATUREX, Analytical Chemist at OrbusNeich Medical in Shenzhen, China, where the first analytical chemistry laboratory was established, and a Lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University. Olivia holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Skidmore College and has also contributed to research projects at both the University of Connecticut and Skidmore College.
