Damon Liao is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in building and optimizing data infrastructure. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Dcard since September 2018, Damon has designed a highly scalable Airflow infrastructure for managing thousands of daily cron jobs and developed tools to enhance data consumption efficiency. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Engineer at Polydice, where Damon established ETL pipelines and managed extensive logging operations, and a brief role as Digital Marketing Group Leader at Eastern Hotels & Resorts, where significant ROI growth was achieved through innovative marketing strategies. Damon began a career in digital advertising as an Account Manager at AsiaPac Net Media Limited, managing and optimizing major ad accounts. Educationally, Damon holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Trade from Shu-Te University.
