Bernard Andre has over 30 years of work experience in the energy and software development industries. In 2015, they began working at dcbel as an Energy Resources Optimization Specialist, where they developed a battery degradation model, the optimization model of the NanoGrid product, and assessed data volume and data flow for the NanoGrid and HydroGrid products. Finally, from 1986 to 1995, Andre worked at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre as a Research Assistant, where they assisted students and researchers, developed and programmed three-dimensional mathematical models, designed and programmed analysis software and decision support tools, and wrote scientific papers.

Bernard Andre obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al between 1987 and 1989. Bernard also earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al between 1980 and 1985.
