Serge Laporte

Serge Laporte has worked in the IT industry since 1995. Serge began their career at INTERPRO Consultants Inc. as a Principal Consultant, eventually becoming President and CEO. In 2010, they were appointed Executive Vice President of UTILICASE Inc.'s EPS Division, where they took the lead on the design and development of a commercial product. Serge then joined Fujitsu Canada in 2013, first as Vice President of Professional Services, then as Director of Project Management. In 2015, they moved to CGI as Directeur Services Conseils and, in 2019, they joined BOMBARDIER as Senior IS Advisor. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Head of IS at dcbel.

Serge Laporte studied Electrical Engineering at École de technologie supérieure from 1991 to 1993, earning a B.A.C. Serge also attended Institue d'ordinique du Quèbec from 1987 to 1990, earning a D.E.C. in Systems Ordinée.
