Richard Rowell has extensive experience in technology and engineering, beginning with a position as an Engineering Technician at Allied Signal Aerospace from 1985 to 1996. Following that, Richard served as a Technical Writer at Ciena from June 2000 to August 2004, focusing on documentation for DWDM fiber optics hardware and Java-based software, with responsibilities that included creating Help files and managing software installation on UNIX servers. Richard then progressed to AAMC, where from October 2004 to April 2016, a role as Lead Performance Test Engineer was held, involving functional, security, and performance testing, as well as data analytics and team training. Currently serving as Lead Automation Test Engineer at DCCA since May 2016, Richard holds an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies from The Community College of Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Towson University.
