Nick Morrow has diverse work experience in the engineering and culinary fields. In 2019, they worked as a Civil Project Engineer at DCI Engineers, where they were involved in grading, stormwater, and utility design for various projects. Their responsibilities included using software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, preparing drainage reports, and conducting traffic signal warrant analyses. Nick also communicated with clients and other engineering firms.
Prior to that, Nick was a Civil Engineering Intern at the Washington State Department of Transportation in 2018 and 2017. During these internships, they gained experience in roadway inspection, managing crews, recording equipment and material usage, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Nick also worked on various roadway systems and features, including paving, surveying, and ADA features.
Outside of the engineering field, Nick worked as a Chef at Outback Steakhouse in 2015. In this role, they collaborated with the kitchen staff to prepare and cook food while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Nick demonstrated strong time and resource management skills to ensure efficient and high-quality food delivery.
Nick Morrow attended the University of Washington from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
