Ryan Grillo is a Partner at DCI Group where he oversees the firm’s international practice and office in Brussels, Belgium. Ryan provides strategic counsel and public policy advice to multi-national companies on a wide range of issues, including trade, global health, environment and natural resources, non-governmental organizations and civil society, and sustainability and development.

Since joining DCI Group in 2004, Ryan has overseen client activities in Europe, India, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia. His focus has been designing customized, strategic public affairs campaigns, with an emphasis on multilateral and civil society policy and the impact of non-governmental organizations (NGOs.)

Ryan has led successful public policy campaigns focused on global health and HIV/AIDS, clean energy, international trade, corporate social responsibility, mining, trade policy and the United Nations. He has been instrumental in guiding the firm’s client work at the UN, including at key international conventions such as the International AIDS Conferences, World Trade Organizations (WTO) Ministerial meetings, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Framework Convention on Climate Change.

He began his career working in the Washington, DC office of U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel. He believes that facilitating successful outcomes for the private sector is key to bringing about increased living standards, creating new jobs and prosperity for the poor and middle class throughout the world.
