Jonathan Mullin has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and artificial intelligence. Jonathan is currently working as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at DCI Solutions since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Scientist at DCI Solutions starting from April 2016. Jonathan gained valuable experience as a Senior Scientist at the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory from August 2013 to April 2016. Jonathan also worked as a Scientist III at HPTi (a DRC Company) from November 2011 to August 2013. Jonathan started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University from May 2009 to November 2011, where they focused on the development of quantum mechanics with electrodynamics calculations. Jonathan also worked as a Graduate Assistant and Research Assistant at Ames Laboratory from November 2000 to April 2009, exploring topics such as protein binding, solvation of amino acids, and intermolecular forces. Apart from their research work, Jonathan gained experience in hospitality as a Bartender at Feedlot Steakhouse and as a Butcher Assistant at Hy-Vee, Inc. Jonathan also served as a Graphic Design Intern at EBI.

Jonathan Mullin received their education at various institutions. Jonathan first attended AHS from 1996 to 2000, although no degree or field of study information was provided. Subsequently, they enrolled at Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from 2000 to 2004. Jonathan then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from 2004 to 2006 at the same university. Finally, Jonathan completed their education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Iowa State University from 2006 to 2009.
