Senior Software Engineer at DDC-I

Mark Sygrove has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Mark started their career at Honeywell Aerospace, where they worked as an engineer and software lead for the Flight Management System (FMS) for several years. Mark was responsible for the Flight Planning function of the FMS and was involved in multiple certifications of the system.

Mark later joined ACSS (L-3 Communications) as an engineer and eventually became an Engineering Manager. Mark managed avionics products related to surveillance and was responsible for system and software engineering management tasks. Mark participated in the development of various ACSS products, including MASS, TCAS 3000, T2CAS, and Transponder.

After that, Mark worked at Neeme Systems Solutions, Inc (NSS) as an Engineer, where they focused on system engineering work on flight controls for the 787. Mark was responsible for test creation and execution of Matlab models.

Mark then moved to Real Time Consulting LLC, where they initially worked as an engineer on aviation programs, generating requirements, design, code, and verification tests. After 2 years, they transitioned into a management position as the VP of Engineering Services and Program Management, providing guidance and direction to the engineering teams.

Mark later joined ENEA as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they provided high-quality engineering services to large aerospace companies. Their role involved generating requirements, software updates, and testing of complex embedded avionics programs on the Lockheed Martin LM100J.

Mark's most recent work experience has been at DDC-I, where they are currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer.

Outside of their work in the aerospace industry, Mark also competed as a Taekwondo competitor in tournaments associated with the American Taekwondo Association and won the state championship in Arizona in 2009.

Mark Sygrove attended Arizona State University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
