John McEwen

John McEwen is an experienced GIS Manager currently working at DDG since August 2023 and serving as an Engineering Assistant for the Air National Guard since January 2020. Prior roles include Geographic Information Systems Manager at Tidal Basin Group, GIS Analyst at Tetra Tech, and Lead GIS Specialist at ICF, among others. John has a strong background in geospatial analysis, having held positions with the United States Navy and the City/Parish of Baton Rouge. John has a Doctor of Philosophy in Geography & Anthropology from Louisiana State University and a Master's degree in Geography from Florida State University. Current education pursuits include an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Construction Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
