John Chieng

John Chieng is a seasoned professional in automation management and engineering with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as Senior Automation Manager at De.mem Limited since August 2016, John leads the implementation and deployment of automation projects within desalination, wastewater, and potable water treatment plants, as well as membrane manufacturing. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at Hyflux Ltd, where John managed automation projects, and Senior System Engineer at STMicroelectronics, focusing on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Probers. Additional experiences include positions as Device Engineer at ON Semiconductor, Test Engineer at Infineon Technologies, and Product Engineer at Matsushita Electric Motor Co, which included electronic controller design and automation programming. John Chieng holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Electronic Communications from The University of Sheffield.
