Kurtiss Hare

Kurtiss Hare is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology and cinema industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Deako Smart Lighting since August 2017, Kurtiss has also held roles such as Executive Director at The Nightlight Cinema and Owner-operator at KinoArts LLC, where the focus is on enriching community engagement through cinema. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, Co-Founder & CTO at playhaven.com, Principal Software Engineer at VoxPop Network Corporation, VP Engineering at lefora, and Software Engineer at Hyland Software, Inc. Kurtiss began the professional journey as a Developer at Case Western Reserve University after earning a BS in Computer Science from the same institution. Kurtiss completed high school education at GlenOak High School.
