The studio was opened in 1979 by America Sweetheart, Debbie Reynolds, when she needed a place to rehearse for her shows.  Interest quickly grew when Debbie's friends and colleagues desired to rehearse at her studio as well, resulting in the expansion of the studio from one rehearsal room to eight.  Hollywood Responded and stars came form all around including (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Johnny Deep, Justin Timberlake, Brittney Spears and so many more) to rehearse for some of the biggest entertainment productions in the world. Future stars and students came to learn from the best acting, dancing, and music instructors, making DEBBIE REYNOLDS STUDIO WORLD-FAMOUS. We Became a Family over the years, generations of dedicated clients and students regularly came to the studio, making them part of our family and not "just clients".  It is our pleasure to witness youth grow into artists, and our honor to see so many people achieve their dreams. In December of 2016 the world mourned when Debbie and Carrie passed away, leaving a trail of tears and sadness. Through the strength and determination of Todd Fisher, using his family motto "CAN'T DOESN'T EXIST!", he has carried on the legacy of both his mother and sister, providing the leadership for continued success. After forty years of being the most trusted name in the business, the original location was closed.
