Guus Sliepen is a seasoned software architect and developer with extensive experience in both industry and research. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect at UBIQ Aerospace since April 2024, Guus has also owned and operated Sliepen Datakonsult since March 2014, focusing on IT consulting and software development in mesh networking technologies. Prior to this, experience includes roles at Google as a Senior Software Engineer working on Pixel GPU drivers, and at Arm as a Staff Software Engineer optimizing the Vulkan driver for the Mali GPU series. Additionally, Guus has contributed to Debian as a long-term developer since 2001, and has held research engineer positions at Stockholm University and The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, developing advanced optical systems. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Physics from Utrecht University and a VWO Gymnasium diploma from RSG Lingecollege Tiel.
