Jay Berkenbilt is an experienced software architect with a strong background in security product development and infrastructure/DevOps. Currently serving as a Software Architect at KnectIQ since July 2024, Jay has also been a developer for the Debian project since December 2003. Previously, Jay held the position of Principal Engineer at Trend Health Partners, following a role as Senior Application Architect at Advent Health Partners. Additional experience includes significant contributions at Appian Corporation as a Software Architect and Principal Release Engineer, as well as roles at Argon ST, Apex CoVantage, and Raytheon E-Systems. Jay possesses advanced degrees in Computer Science and Applications from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
