Michal Čihař is a technology expert with extensive experience in software development and project leadership. As the founder of Weblate since January 2012, Michal developed an online localization tool. Contributions to Gammu began in 2002, evolving from a contributor to project leader, while maintaining numerous packages as a Debian Developer since October 2005. Michal has a diverse background including roles as an Infrastructure Specialist at Braiins, a Developer and Project Admin for phpMyAdmin, and a Services Engineer at SUSE. Earlier roles included product engineering at SYSGO AG and package maintenance at SUSE, as well as web development at Et Netera. Michal holds an Ing. degree in Computer Science from Czech Technical University in Prague.
