Neil McGovern

Neil McGovern is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and development within the open source software community. Currently serving as the National Director for the Campaign for Real Ale and as the Founder of Tenterfell, Neil continues to make significant contributions to various projects. Previously held positions include Executive Director for both the GNOME Foundation and Ruby Central, Inc., along with a Director role at OpenUK. As a Developer for Debian since 2005, Neil has also served as an Ex Release Manager and press officer. Neil’s experience includes engineering management at Collabora Ltd and local governance as a Liberal Democrat Councillor for Cambridge City Council. Neil's educational background includes studies at the University of Sheffield.
