Rene Lima is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer at New Work SE since September 2022, previously serving as an International Partner for Technology at the World Business Angels Investment Forum, where business screening and assessment for cross-border investments in the innovation industry were conducted. As Chief of Innovation Officer at AL4MO, Rene Lima led product development for startups and technology-based enterprises. Additional experience includes advisory roles on technology boards for RNP and the Comitê Gestor de Inteligência do Brasil, and serving as Chief Information Officer for FNDE, focusing on solution development for critical operations. Prior roles encompass Chief Technology Officer at the Ministério da Educação, Software Engineering Consultant at the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos, and various IT governance and engineering positions. Rene Lima holds a Licentiate in Computer Science from Universidade de Brasília and executive training in Branding & Brand Culture and Open Innovation from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
