Michael M. serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, teaching appellate law since January 2021. As Supervising Attorney at The Semrad Law Firm, LLC since October 2006, Michael oversees the firm's appellate practice and has extensive experience in bankruptcy law, practicing for over fifteen years. Previous roles include an externship at the United States Trustee's Office, where Michael participated in court hearings and conducted legal research, as well as an externship at the Greater Southwest Predatory Lending Clinic, which involved client meetings and mortgage document reviews; during this time, Michael received the Fannie Mae Predatory Lending Scholarship. Michael earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Roosevelt University.
