Alexander Du

Alexander Du is a junior at North Allegheny Senior High School, where they are an aspiring engineer with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and innovation in engineering fields such as EECS, mechanical engineering, and robotics. Alexander has engaged in award-winning research on graphene oxide membranes for water filtration and seismic simulations on Mars, fueling their passion for sustainable solutions. They currently work as a crew member at Chick-fil-A while also co-founding a Stealth Startup backed by ECE @Pitt. In addition, Alexander serves as the incoming Vice President of Fundraising for North Allegheny DECA and has interned as an Ecoleader at Phipps Conservatory, where they contributed to sustainability projects. Their active participation in speech and debate has further developed their communication and critical thinking skills.
