Michael Gannon

Michael Gannon is an engaged student leader with a diverse range of experiences across various organizations. Currently serving in multiple roles, Gannon is involved with the Student-Athlete Leadership Council at Montgomery County Public Schools and acts as Policy Director for the 47th SMOB Advisory Council. As Legislative Director and State Legislative Affairs Coordinator for the Maryland Association of Student Councils, Gannon actively participates in legislative processes. Additionally, Gannon holds the position of Associate Director for Policy at the Los Altos Institution. Gannon also serves as Director of Legislative Affairs and National Affairs Deputy for MCR-SGA, while co-founding and co-leading the Magruder Chapter of DECA Inc. at Col. Zadok Magruder High School, where Gannon also holds the title of Class President. Gannon gained practical experience as a legal intern at Cecere Law, LLC, and as an intern in the Office of Councilmember Albornoz within Montgomery County Government. Gannon is on track to graduate with a High School Diploma from Col. Zadok Magruder High School in 2026.
