Gary Desmarest

Gary Desmarest is an experienced leader in retail management, currently serving as the Regional Operations Leader for Decathlon France since October 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of over 80 staff members and managing a significant revenue account exceeding €32 million. In this role, Gary also leads commercial strategy and product selection for the Paris metropolitan area, encompassing 38 stores. Prior to this, Gary held various managerial positions within Decathlon, including Store Director roles and training positions. Experience also includes a food and beverage supervisory role at Ultimo Catering & Events during a working holiday in Australia, as well as sales and client management at eForSports. Earlier experience includes an assistant role at the Fédération Française de Tennis, focusing on public services and event management during major tournaments. Gary holds a Master's degree from ESG Management School.
