Nuno Tinoco

Nuno Tinoco currently serves as the Footwear Sourcing & Manufacturing Director for Decathlon France, with additional responsibilities as the Footwear Nearshoring Project Leader overseeing Europe, North Africa, and India. Nuno is a member of the APM - Association Progrès du Management, which focuses on enhancing leadership and management skills through collaboration. Nuno's previous experiences include directing footwear sourcing and manufacturing in Vietnam and Cambodia, leading the global footwear injection process at Decathlon International, and holding various roles in footwear research and development, starting with a traineeship at the Centre Technique du Cuir et de la Chaussure. Nuno holds a Master’s degree in Footwear Engineering & R&D from Université Savoie Mont Blanc and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences from Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne. Nuno also has a background in basketball coaching, achieving recognition as a Third Division French Champion.
