Ryan De Taboada

Ryan De Taboada has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ryan is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Decentral Games, a company that develops 3D multiplayer games in Decentraland. Ryan also works as an Advisor to the founders, providing guidance on crypto-economic design and emerging partnership opportunities within the space.

Prior to their current role, Ryan worked at Credit Karma as a Senior Business Development Manager, where they managed partnerships in the Auto Purchase, Refinance, and Insurance verticals. Ryan also held the position of Business Development Manager at the same company.

Ryan has also worked at Amazon as a Content Acquisition Manager, where they performed analyses of new business models and terms proposals to maximize revenues and reduce costs. Ryan was responsible for working with publishers to increase the number and quality of titles available on the Amazon Kindle platform, and implementing processes that supported new business models and strategic programs.

In addition, Ryan worked at Capital One as a Senior Business Analyst, where they developed and maintained valuation models and provided ad hoc analyses relating to credit policy and loss forecasting. Ryan also automated dealer performance monitoring and designed a roll-out and monitoring plan for COAF expansion.

Ryan's earlier work experience includes serving as the Editor-in-chief of Stanford Chaparral, where they managed the publication process, oversaw the staff, and made final decisions about publishing, distribution, and finances. Ryan also worked as an EPGY Counselor at Stanford University, where they designed and taught break-out sessions in Game Theory and Cosmology and planned extracurricular activities for campers.

Ryan De Taboada completed their education with a high school diploma from Carlsbad High School in 2010. Ryan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at Stanford University, graduating in 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Ryan pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Science and Engineering (MS&E) from Stanford University, which they completed in 2014 as well.
