Matt McKibbin

Matt McKibbin has a diverse work experience in the field of venture investment, advisory, and entrepreneurship. Matt is the Founder and Chief Decentralization Officer of DecentraNet, an early-stage venture investment fund and advisory firm. Matt also serves as a Strategic Advisor for Lucy Scientific Discovery, a company focused on producing GMP grade psychedelic medicines. Matt is a member of Top Tier Impact, a global community of conscious leaders solving critical issues. As a Co-Founder of AMMA, Matt provides customers with high-quality hemp-derived products. Matt has also worked as a Strategic Advisor for Humaniq, a mobile banking platform, and as the Chief Decentralization Officer of d10e, a conference focused on decentralization. Matt has served as a Strategic Advisor & Investor for Securrency, which creates liquidity for illiquid markets using patented technologies. Matt has been involved in organizing the DC Bitcoin Meetup and is a Co-Founder of Ubitquity, a title transfer system on the blockchain. Additionally, Matt has experience as a Venture Recruiter for Family Office Venture Capital, Inc., where they searched for direct investment opportunities on behalf of a network of family offices.

Matt McKibbin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from West Virginia University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene, which they completed at West Virginia University from 2008 to 2010.
