Cameron Leger

Cameron Leger has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Cameron started their career in 2008 at Blockbuster as a Shift Leader/Manager. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at The DVI Group as a Technical Director, where they developed pipeline management software, asset management software, and animation tools and plugins for artists. Cameron also programmed shaders for photo-realistic and stylized renders and coded front-end websites with an emphasis on animation.

From 2014 to 2015, Cameron worked at BrightPipe as an IT Manager/Software Developer. Cameron then joined PGi in 2015 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Full-Stack Development within an Agile team. Cameron contributed to various areas of Salesforce, including pricing, contracting, and quote-to-cash web applications. Cameron also worked on middle-tier microservices for billing, provisioning, and license management.

In their role at PGi, Cameron received the PGi Club winner award in 2016 and provided technical direction and training to junior team members. Cameron was involved in developing front-end, middle-tier, and back-end solutions using technologies such as Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP, Java, Salesforce Apex, and Flowable BPMN Processes. Cameron also handled infrastructure management, automated deployment, and ETL processes using AWS, Jenkins, and various scripting languages.

In 2019, Cameron joined Decentrix Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer. Their role involves leading software engineering projects within the company.

Additionally, Cameron has open-source involvement and created Bitwiggers, a website that facilitates the upload, review, and download of presets for Bitwig software. The website is built using Python and hosted on AWS.
