Derick Akers

Derick Akers has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Derick started their career at Level 3 Communications in 2007 as a Senior Test Analyst and worked in this role until 2010. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Senior Management Data Analyst at Level 3 Communications, where they reported impacts to Revenue in advance of monthly Financial close and provided management reporting data integration and pro forma views in support of multiple acquisitions. Derick also contributed to location-based reporting of customer financial metrics and address normalization for non-US locations. Finally, in 2013, Derick became a Senior Business Intelligence Developer at Level 3 Communications and worked in this role until 2016. After leaving Level 3 Communications, Derick joined Decentrix Inc. in 2016 as a Business Intelligence Consultant, where they are currently employed.

Derick Akers attended the College of the Ozarks from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Business. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Test Automation Foundations" from LinkedIn in October 2018, "Selenium Essential Training" from LinkedIn in July 2018, and "Statistics Foundations: 1" and "Statistics Foundations: 2" from LinkedIn in June 2018.
