Jason Johnson

Jason Johnson has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jason began their career at Fidelity Investments, where they held the role of Investment Solutions Representative from March 2021 to March 2022. In this position, they provided investment solutions to clients.

Currently, Jason is the Managing Director of Institutional Sales and Head of Transactional Services at Velvet, a digital placement agent and online marketplace for LPs to invest in Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Hedge Funds. Since joining Velvet in March 2022, they have been responsible for managing institutional sales and overseeing transactional services. Jason'srole involves curating listings, conducting operational due diligence, and facilitating direct communication with fund managers. Jason's expertise lies in working with emerging managers and providing comprehensive information to LPs.
