Juilee Malavade, Ph.D., currently serves as a Life Science Expert at DeciBio since January 2024. Previously, Juilee was a Doctoral Student at Duke University from September 2018 to January 2024, where Juilee was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow in Dr. Brent Hoffman’s group, focusing on force-sensitive molecular mechanisms in cell and ECM interactions using high-content imaging and cell-based assays. In addition, Juilee held the position of Project Manager at Duke University’s Advance Professional Degree Consulting Club, successfully leading a team to conduct market research for a fitness industry client, resulting in a 60% business growth and expansion into 15 countries. Earlier experience includes a Consumer R&D Summer Internship at Johnson & Johnson, where Juilee worked on refining test methods for bandage efficacy. Juilee Malavade earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University.
