Yunsi Yang

Yunsi Yang has a wealth of experience in data analysis. Yunsi began their career in 2015 as a Data Analyst at Yale University School of Medicine, where they designed a binomial statistic regression model and used SVMs and random forest models to classify variations in DNA sequences. In 2017, they joined Volvo Group as a Supply Chain Data Analyst, where they created a simulation tool via R to improve demand prediction and increased forecast accuracy by 40-50%. In 2018, they moved to Edward Jones as a Consultant, where they developed comprehensive business cases to analyze costs, benefits, ROI and TCO. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Decide as Director of Data Analysts, Team Lead of Publisher Analysts, and Publisher Analyst.

Yunsi Yang has a comprehensive educational history. From 2012 to 2015, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Lawrence University. Yunsi then went on to receive a Master of Arts in Statistics from Yale University in 2016. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Management from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School in 2021.
