Philippe Bergeron has held a variety of roles in the engineering and technology industry since 2009. Philippe began their career as a Warehouse Clerk at Sign-A-Rama in 2009, followed by a role as a Sign Maker at Lucenda Canada in 2010. In 2012, they took on a Research and Development Intern role at EuroFarad, where they modeled the water diffusion process inside mica film capacitors, optimized the process of capacitor varnishing, and studied the chemical and electrical properties of epoxy resins. In 2013, they worked as an Electrical Design Intern at DOORspec inc. and a Process Engineering Intern at Dearborn Electronics Inc., where they implemented new filtration methods, designed a DC-link capacitor for the Bombardier Global 7000 Airliner, and investigated ESR and IR failures during production of Boeing 737 and Boeing 787 capacitors. In 2014, they were a Product Process Engineer and Process Engineering Intern at Exxelia Dearborn Inc., where they designed a Fuller's Earth fixed bed column for insulation oil recovery, used UV/Vis spectroscopy to monitor and control the concentration of antioxidants in process chambers, and investigated DF and ESR on metallized polypropylene capacitors. In 2016, they held three roles: Chief Technology Officer, Software Development Manager, and Process Engineer at DECIDE4ACTION Inc., as well as a Design Engineer at DOORspec inc.

Philippe Bergeron obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering from McGill University between 2011 and 2015. Philippe also received a WHMIS certification from McGill University in September 2013.
