Ed Bishop serves as the Director of Analytical Development at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals since January 2020, overseeing GMP/GLP analytical activities for drug substances and products in early-stage development. Prior to this role, Ed held the position of Principal Consultant at Pharma Resources Consulting, providing strategic and operational services in the analytical and pharmaceutical sectors. Ed boasts extensive experience from Celgene in various leadership roles focused on analytical development and quality operations, as well as previous positions at Alpharma, Abbott Laboratories, Hoffmann-La Roche, and Sigma Chemical. Ed holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and additional degrees in Microbiology from Rutgers University and The University of Kansas.
