Mary Timson

Mary Timson possesses extensive experience in the fields of biochemistry, analytical chemistry, and preclinical drug development, with a focus on oncology and enzyme applications. Currently serving as Senior Scientist I at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals since June 2018, Mary specializes in high throughput screening assays and cellular-based immunoassays. Previous roles include Enzyme Chemist at Corbion, where responsibilities encompassed enzyme kinetics and biochemical method development, and Lab Study Analyst II at Hyde Engineering + Consulting, focusing on cleaning process validation and method development. Mary has also contributed as Applications Specialist at Sartorius, Science Tutor at WyzAnt Tutoring, and held various research positions throughout academic training, culminating in a Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee in 2011.
